SOSS #192 - H for Hormonal

The latest challenge at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers is #192 H for Hormonal. I immediately think of menopause, particularly brain fog in my case.

I'm entering this in Lost Coast Portal to Creativity #128 Face On (Use a Human Face).

Below you can see the original background for this card. I added the yellow and immediately hated it so used gesso to cover up the ugly.

  • PaperArtsy Lynne Perrella 46
  • Crafty Individuals Wild Flowers and Ferns Silhouette
  • TCW Stencil 357S
  • AALL & Create Heapza Hexagonz Stencil
  • Golden Light Molding Paste
  • Tim Holtz Snarky Small Talk
  • Liquitex Acrylic Paint
  • Distress Oxides
  • Stazon Timber Brown

  1. Love your card, Toni, both versions look good to me! Brain fog is just the worst, Jo x

  2. Super card, oh I remember brain fog, menopause is gone but the brain fog remains for me. I love the one with the yellow and I am not a yellow fan. In saying that the first one spotlights the image better. Both are great.

  3. This is fabulous, so pretty and funny at the same time! Thanks so much for joining in with us at Lost Coast Designs and have a very happy weekend, Sue xx

  4. While I don't _mind_ the yellow version, the gessoed one is light and ethereal and perfect for the focal image! Absolutely love this card.

  5. Love the background you have created. This stamp is really unusual and I love it! Perfect sentiment to accompany it. Thanks for joining the Lost Coast Design Challenge!

  6. Awesome card Toni. Love that textured background and you colouring. I can totally relate to your sentimtne too.

  7. LOL! This is so me! LOL!! LOVE the image!!!! Have a super week! ((HUGS)) Helen

  8. I like both backgrounds...both are awesome!
I love that image and of course the awesome sentiment :)

  9. Love LP and haven't seen this stamp before but it is very cool and very appropriate for the theme. Fabulous card. Thanks for joining the fun at the Lost Coast Portal to Creativity Challenge! Hugz
