Betty Boop Latte Birthday Wishes
I love the new Waffle Flower stamps--all vintagey and Betty Boopy. I cannot help but think of those black and white cartoons, think early Mickey Mouse or Betty Boop. Super fun! I created a little scene by adding a coffee cup and thought/speech bubble. I stacked that up on black cardstock so really pops out in person.

Stamplorations and the Coffee Lovers Hop
Woo hoo! The Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop has begun and Stamplorations is one of the fabulous sponsors. A bunch of new products, coffee-related and otherwise, have popped in the store so be sure to take a look and be sure to look at how we were inspired to use them.
In my first card I used the new kettle die sprinkled all over my card front then backed by origami paper. I didn't want to waste that amazing paper but had little left so I got creative in using the Smile die. Love how that turned it out. A few enamel dots and a sentiment from the New Beginning set complete the card.
I'm entering this in AAA #86 Diecuts, Simon Says Wednesday Use More Than One Die/Punch, Coffee Lovers Spring Blog Hop
The Details: Stamplorations New Beginning, Cutplorations Tag o'Coffee and Smile dies, Yasutomo origami paper, Waltizing Mouse Stitched Scalloped Rectangle die, Bazzill cardstock, Doodlebug and Mark Richards dots, VersaFine Onyx Black
For my second card, I wanted to use the diecuts from my origami card so I stacked them beneath the designer paper kettle. That's totally a kettle I would buy. I colored up the Coffee Happy cups drawing colors from the designer paper. The yellow stripe paper is from the same pad. Love that shade of yellow. Oh, duh, it just occurred to me I could have reversed the kettle die and layout so that the sentiment, as you were reading it, could have poured visually into the cup. Next time!
The Details: Stamplorations Coffee Happy, Cutplorations Tag o'Coffee and Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting Dies, American Standard 6x6 designer paper, Pretty Pink Posh clear sequins, Lawn Fawn twine, Memento Toffee Crunch, Copics

Slow Down
And keep track of your sticky clear stamps! This card almost didn't get made because in typical Toni-fashion, I lost the sentiment for a long chunk of time. Finally found it stuck to a sticky dot on the back of a piece of paper in my recycle bin. Whew!
This idea came to me last weekend at a crafty shindig with my ladies (fun!) and then it occurred to me that maybe, just maybe, it could be a slider with minimal layering. YES! Notice that the Slide on Over die nests perfectly with the Road die? I just put a 1/16" strip of foam along both sides of the upper road to create enough room for the slider mechanism. I glued the slider cutaway to the bottom so it would look like a road regardless of where the card was at the time. Very cool!
I'm entering this in Tuesday Throwdown 335 Add Dimension, AAA 86 Diecuts, Simon Says Wednesday Use More Than One Die/Punch
The Details: Lawn Fawn Slide on Over and Road Border dies, Distress Ink Picked Raspberry, Squeezed Lemonade, and Worn Lipstick, VersaFine Onyx Black, Memento Tuxedo Black, Love Cynthia Follow Your Heart and Let Your Heart Sing (sentiment), Copics

Happy Birthday to My Sweet Koi
I mean boy, my sweet boy(friend). LOL. I had such great fun with this one--Lindy's Magicals worked so well for the random koi colors and Brushos for the water. I was trying to make it look like the koi had just splashed down. Do they do that? To be honest, the big ones freak me out with their giant mouths and how you can see all the way inside. Shiver.
I took another shot to try to capture the iridescence of the Magicals. You'll need to squint and pretend--just couldn't! I do love the texture of the Hero Arts Koi die, don't you? Really makes it seem lifelike--shiver.
Now off to package this up. His birthday is today!

Cards in Envy Spot of Color Challenge
This round's challenge at Cards in Envy is Black and White with just a spot of color. There are so many ways you could do this! Black and white stripes with floral, white on white with a black sentiment and little colorful element, the list goes on.
I opted to go with a snowy scene with graphic black elements and a cute orange pom pom and nose. Anything I can do to reduce my mad holiday card rush is a winner!

Stamplorations CAS #15 Mid-Challenge Reminder
Time for the mid-challenge reminder over at Stamplorations CAS. The optional color twist is sky blue as you may recall.
I'm trying to work on holiday cards throughout the year--yay, me! I used the Bubble Dance stencil to create the illusion of bokeh falling snow and sponged the Christmas Reindeer stencil at a bit of a tilt so less leaping and more stately walk through a winter wonderland. LOL! The diecut, one of my favs!, I left in white to further the bokeh effect.
Use the code STAMPGIRLTONI to get 20% off all regular- and sale-priced stamps, stencils and dies! This code cannot be combined with any other discount codes. Happy crafting!

Hello, My Favorite!
You know that thing where you start out with a concept and, boom, end up in a totally different place? Yup, this card. I had been thinking about this girl on a swing--super simple card in mind--but wouldn't it be cute if she could actually swing? Maybe one of those cards were the image is suspended on thread--hmm, that takes too much planning, eww. So, rejiggered my mindset and placed her on a lift up flap. Virtual swing!
- I diecut the Lawn Fawn tree die border and turned it on its side as a branch.
- I figured out where I wanted to place the girl and diecut a Pretty Pink Posh Peekaboo Window, extended for length to fit (did this on the Big Shot--I bet Jennifer McGuire or somebody has a video about this technique).
- I stamped my image and drew in extra chain using a Copic Multiliner (0.3).
- After I colored her up, I decided to add clouds and grass for more interest--a Ranger round sponge applicator for the clouds and a Clarity brush for the grass (love the effect of the stippled grass).
- The coverplate looked plain so I used another border die cut scallop the edges. Omg, so cute.
- A handful of leaves, butterflies and a precious bird make the scene more lively.
- And finally, finally, finally, I stamped the sentiment and colored up a few hearts on the card base so when the recipient lifts the flap (or should I say, swings it), they get a secret message.

Another bit of inspiration for you for The Heart Desires Challenge 10 which runs through the end of the month. Come join in!
I'll be sending this to a friend of mine who lives in South Africa so I was rather excited to find this map paper in my stash. I layered diecuts right and left--absolutely no stamping but I did color the hearts. I love the size of the HA Luggage Tag Alphabet. Big but not too. So amazing in that gold!

Glamper Camper
Do you remember maps? I mean back in the day maps--you know, paper folding that required a PhD to accomplish. When I saw The Heart Desires Challenge maps for this month, I thought of travelling, roads, camping or should I say glamping. Heck, yes! Notice anything about the camper compared to the original stamp shown below? What, what? Backwards?! Go read more about how I did this.
The Details: Avery Elle Glamper Camper, Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid Rainbow 6x6 paper, Lawn Fawn Puffy Cloud Borders, SugarPea Designs Log Cabin Mountainscapes Border, Concord & 9th Heart Smile, VersaFine Onyx Black, Distress Ink Tumbled Glass, Copics, PopTone Sour Apple cardstock
