CAS on Friday #315 - Baby

I thought I would include a baby in an unexpected way on my card for the CAS on Friday #315 Challenge.  
 

I ended up chopping off a couple of inches of leg in the middle then drawing in a new shorter segment to make the image fit on the panel.

Crackerbox Stamps - April Release

It's Crackerbox Stamps release day!  There are 4 new clear sets available in the shop. PLUS, they're on sale as well as all Mother's and Father's Day tagged rubber stamps.  Woo hoo!

My first card using Miss Daisy and For the Record is styled after a police mugshot. Does Miss Daisy just have that look?  LOL.

My second card uses the new Mom 1 sentiment set along with the rubber stamp Rosie.  I just used my mini Catherine Pooler inks when stamping the image then colored in the skin.  Easy, peasy!

HLS Christmas - Elf

The Happy Little Stampers Christmas Challenge has an optional elf prompt.  What? Another chance to play with my beloved Stacey Yacula stamps? Well, if you insist!

In creating this scene, I was worried that if I colored the background, it might make it harder to discern Santa and his elf checking his list twice so I stamped it in CP Aquatini so it's visible but not too. Love this effect!

I watercolored the images otherwise, adding some "text" to the mouse's list with a Copic Multiliner.  Note to self:  finally found a use for that Zig Dark Oatmeal color as shading on the sack--go, me!

BRI - Birthday Bugs

Are you ready for cuteness?!  I recently picked up the Sunny Studio Crepe Paper Streamers dies and Lawn Fawn Cloud Background Stencils from Butterfly Reflections Ink which I paired together with some additional Lawn Fawn critters sets.

I curved the Lawn Fawn Simply Celebrate More Critters bugs so that they would follow along the Lawn Fawn A Bug Deal branch more or less. It wasn't at all hard to do.  Ooh, notice that I trimmed off the top branch because I'm a lazy sod who didn't want to deal with real masking. LOL!

For the sentiments I used a combination of stamps from the Lawn Fawn Simply Celebrate Critters and A Bug Deal sets. Don't they work together well?  Duh, it's Lawn Fawn!
