Warm Winter Wishes

Thanks to my friend, Lenae, for providing this make 'n' take. She did everything for us except add Distress Oxide. I wish cards were always this easy!

Adventure Awaits

I've made some adjustments to my DT commitments so will have more time for me. I love cardmaking but when it becomes a job, it's not fun for me any longer.

One of my favorite parts of this card, beyond Janet Klein's fab images, was using the Pebble Pile stencil with Hero Arts Unicorn pigment ink.  Very dreamy.

I've listed the ingredients I've used below, most purchased from Topflight Stamps.  Be sure to check out the latest in the store. You can shop your heart out using this 12% off coupon

Chubby Reindeer

OMG, these Mama Elephant chubby reindeer are killing me.  They're so cute!  I used Zigs to watercolor the images and a bit of Distress Oxide for the night sky.

Pink Poinsettia

I am kicking myself for not grabbing the 2019 Gina K Stamptember set but at least I have a nearby friend who has it.  Whew!

I did a really simple and quick Zig watercolor and embossed sentiment.  I love the embossed gold with the Clear Wink of Stella.  Blingy!

Bunny Tree

I've had this stamped up for nearly a year. I love doing that with holiday sets so I can pull them out whenever I'm in the mood for a little cheer.  This year I hope to make a few Xmas cards a month. We'll see!

3D Poinsettia

I'm using the Colorado Craft Company Poinsettia again with Tim Holtz Sketch Greenery and Forest Floor images.

This time I fussy cut and layered the poinsettia. It's amazing--so gorgeous.

Merry Corgmas

Still working on finishing up holiday cards I had stamped last Christmas. This one is from Power Poppy. I used Zigs to work it up in about 2 minutes. That's my kind of card!

Merry Slothmas!

When I saw the Penny Black Slothmas set I had to get it for a card for my niece who loves those critters after a trip where she got to play with some.

These aren't my usual style of images but I must admit I think they're super cute and whimsical which fit my mood at the time.

This one used Memory Box Garland 6x6 paper in the background. Love the combo.

Elegant Foiled Holiday Card

The challenge over at The Paper Players #521 is a color one:  silver, black and white. I feel like I didn't play enough with my not-so-new-now Spellbinders Glimmer machine so this provided the perfect opportunity to foil up a card.

I foiled the Paper Rose B&W Christmas 6x6 paper with Spellbinders Glimmer Twinkle Lights in silver. I added additional silver with the glitter paper I used with the Tim Holtz berry sprig. Swoon!

I'm also entering this in Simon Says Wednesday Let it Snow.

Quirky Christmas Girls

Aren't these AALL & Create Merry and Bright girls quirky cute?  I adore them.

I went messy with this one.  Not my usual color palette but I love it here.  Somebody check me for fever.

I'm entering this in Sparkles Christmas Challenge #119 Non-Traditional Christmas Colors and Simon Says Wednesday Let it Snow

For the second I went less messy but just as fun. I used Zigs to color this one.

Modern Xmas

Aren't these cool?  I was inspired by Karen Dunbrook of Snippets.  Such a fun and colorful way to make a backdrop on the cards.

Tim Holtz Nature Christmas

I love these Tim Holtz sets so much that after I made the tags, I decided to make some A2 cards as well.

I used Tim Holtz Bold Tidings 3 & 4, Sketch Greenery, Forest Floor and Tiny Text Christmas sets. The Sizzix dies used are 664772 and/or 663101. I also used the Memory Box Deer Trio die.

I'm entering this set in Cardz 4 Guyz #259 Traditional Christmas.

As you can see I made a variety of different ones, just trying different techniques, layouts and such, to see what I liked best.  Umm, all of them!

I used Memory Box Christmas Plaid 6x6 paper and Stitched Holly Leaves on this one that I'm entering  in The Male Room #145 Tartan and Plaid. It runs through January 5 so you have plenty of time to participate if you've a mind to.

Other products used include Ranger White Detail Fine and Gold embossing powder as well as WOW! White Puff Twinkle embossing powder. Other products used include Clear Wink of Stella, Doodlebug Designs enamel dots, a Posca white pigment pen, Distress Oxides, and Versamark (pen and pad).

Rustic Pinecone

I was inspired by CAS(E) this Sketch! #400 for this one.  We're having new flooring installed over the holiday break.  It's a very similar color and texture. Yay!

I'm also entering this in Christmas Kickstart #44 Peace on Earth.

You'll be able to read more about this card on the Doodlebugs blog in a couple of weeks. I have an idea for another pinecone card so am going to post them both there.

Christmas Banner Tags

Oh, lordy, I love how these turned out.  I had been tempted by some fo the new Tim Holtz, naturally, and got a major inspirational kick in the pants after seeing these #8 tags by Anita Houston, the Artful Maven

I got most of my supplies from Scrapbook.com, including the Bold Tidings 3 & 4, Sketch Greenery, and Forest Floor sets. The dies used are Sizzix 664772 and 663101.

I used Distress Oxides for stamping, Copics for coloring, and Ranger Detail White for embossing.

The highlights were done with a white Posca pen.  Ah, let me not forget the glittery snow which was WOW! White Puff Twinkle and berries coated in Clear Wink of Stella and Glossy Accents.

Now to enjoy these for many years to come!
