HLS Watercolour - Emboss

It's time for another Happy Little Stampers Watercolour Challenge (with optional "emboss" topping or anything goes)!  

I created a sponged ink ombre blue background on the card front then mounted the WPlus9 Pine Frame onto it.  I used the same inks on the sentiment, The Greetery's Simply Wonderful, which I mounted on top of a pierced oval diecut with a few of the Pine Frame extra branches placed around it. So simple and so so pretty!

HLS Watercolour - Tropical

This month's Happy Little Stampers Watercolour Challenge is the usual anything goes with an optional tropical twist.  

I didn't use the twist this time, instead opting to make an elegant floral birthday card for a friend of mine. I used two different foils and hot foiled twice using washi to hold that arch in place for the second foiling.  I am so very pleased how this turned out and know she will absolutely love it.  Yay!

HLS Watercolour - Layers

This month at the HLS Watercolour Challenge it's the usual Anything Goes and/or optional "Layers" topping.

I created a holiday card that I watercolored with Zig Real Brush Markers.  Aren't those penguins super cute?!

I used designer paper beneath the hearts layer then a glittery snow layer then the gate and finally the popped up penguins.  So, yes, I chose the optional layers option this round. :)

BRI - Shell-ebrate Your Birthday!

Today I have a two-fer for you, sort of.  It's Butterfly Reflections Ink Monday as well as the start of the Happy Little Stampers Watercolour Challenge with optional code word "happy." So two purposes, not two cards. Boo, I know.

My card, a mash up between Lawn Fawn and Waffle Flower, certainly is happy.  I masked the different areas and stamped the LF underwater images from a few sets.  This would have been a lot easier if I had the Waffle Flower Postage Collage Coloring Stencil but it was sold out.  I'm sure BRI will be getting more soon; I can't wait!

I used Kuretake Zig Real Brush Markers to color the images, Distress Ink Salvaged Patina for the backgrounds, and Copics for the little accent dots. Of course, I added more accents with Copic Opaque White.  So so cute!

HLS Christmas - Twinkle

The Happy Little Stampers Christmas Challenge has an optional "twinkle" topping which is so up my alley.  Glitter and/or shiny things?  Heck, yes!

Of course, twinkle can be difficult to capture on camera so I tooked a sunlight photo to really showcase it.  I hope you're wearing sunglasses!  LOL.

The card was really quite straight forward. I used gold with the Hero Arts Hot Foil Plate, colored it up with Zigs, and added stenciling behind the glitter-embossed Waffle Flower sentiment.  Fabulous!
