ATSM #504 - Any Occasion

Come join us for another Addicted to Stamps & More Challenge #504 Any Occasion.

I wanted to experiment with the Savoy Double Thick Cotton 236lb Letter Press cardstock that I got from CutCardStock. The stuff is amazing for letterpressing but what about watercolor? Just look how well it handled the Brushos watercolor crystals. Brilliant!

Now this paper is double thick and that's no joke. Think twice as thick as a cereal box. I decided not to put it on a card base to avoid extra postage. Instead, I created an easel after watching a video by MayMay Made It Crafts. The one I made starts at around the 10:28 mark.  The only alteration I made was to mark the bottom at 1/2" instead of 1/4" so the angle of leaning would be a bit larger.

SOSS #266 - F for Finally Fall

I'm loving that fall is here!  Come help us celebrate at the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers Challenge #266 - F for Finally Fall.  Isn't DT member Lee's graphic amazing?!

For my card, I created the sentiment in Word and printed it on text-weight Stardream Metallic Eris.  I used various other Stardream Metallic papers for the leaves.  Even if the paper was already colored, I sponged it with Catherine Pooler inks for more variation, just like fall!

Squirrel Party

I decided to make an Autumn-themed birthday card today.  Can you see the cute squirrels prepping for a birthday party?
