BRI - Purrthday Celebration

My latest Butterfly Reflections Ink card is purrfectly fun and cute!  And easy too--really.

I sponged the card base with Distress Oxide Saltwater Taffy and sprinkled it with water.  While that dried I colored up the Sunny Studio Birthday Cats. Aren't they adorable?  And check out that Lawn Fawn mouse popping up.  Definitely a Tom and Jerry moment.

I used Lawn Fawn Henry's ABCs for the "meow" which I cut from kraft cardstock and coated with Clear Wink of Stella then adhered it to a pearlescent shadow base layer.

Finally I positioned the Lawn Fawn Fishtail Banner Borders across the card as it seemed a bit plain without.

BRI - Trash Can

It's graduation season as well as PRIDE month so for today's Butterfly Reflections Ink card I combined the two occasions.

I used Spellbinders Rainbow Glimmer Hot Foil with Scor-Tape and the Lawn Fawn Henry's ABCs to create the sentiment.  I LOVE this so so much!  I used the same foil on the Lawn Fawn Fireworks Hot Foil Plates so matchy matchy.

The MFT Yuzu Little Rascal raccoons tie in to the graduation theme as well.  Check out the inside of the card.  Punny and so so cute!

I must say I colored the raccoons twice.  The first time I used Copics in the neutral gray (N) family but they didn't show up well against the dark blue background (I suppose that's the point when you're a raccoon, right?) so I recolored them using gray-brown which made a huge difference.  Whew, card saved!
