CAS on Friday #301 - Flowers

Let's focus on something pretty to help ourselves get over the winter blues, shall we?  CAS on Friday Challenge #301 Flowers to the rescue!  Looking at this card during editing (and after more colored pencil practice), I realized that I needed to add more shading.  I only did the blossoms--wowza.

ATCAS #251 - Heart

We're asking for hearts at the latest Addicted to CAS Challenge.  It's the season for love and always the season for cuteness so I created a Valentine using some new Lawn Fawn.  I use Catherine Pooler inks which are so bright and blend so easily. Love them!

I'm really pushing the definition of CAS on this card; there's less white space than I normally have for my CAS cards but I couldn't resist using the heart stencil.

CAS on Friday #276 - Valentine

The latest CAS on Friday Challenge asks for Valentine cards.  I don't make a lot of these, especially after separating from my partner in 2022 but I'm all about Galentines!

I stamped the cute penguin then masked it.  I next used a heart die and piece of printer paper to create another mask to use with the brick stencil.  Lastly I stamped the sentiment but flubbed placement a bit; it's a little hard to read even with the embossing.

I decided to try my design again, scooting the sentiment down a tad.  Better but I really prefer the pink card because, well, pink.
