ATSM #426 - Make Your Mark

My favorite of the Addicted to Stamps and More weekly challenges has arrived:  Make Your Mark. However you want to color--paint, ink, watercolor, pencil, whatever it might be--all are fair game.

I used Copics on my card with a bit of ink sponging and spattering.  I ended up ordering a couple of other of the Dina Wakley Acrylic Sprays.  That glossy yellow is so IT.

SOSS #206 - S for Sister Chris

We have an extra special Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers Challenge for you in celebration of Sistah Chris Dring having her first designs released by Stamplorations.  Woo hoo!

Here I'm using Hot Mess along with a Retro Fashionistas ATC - Ephemera panel colored with Copics on a mixed media background. Very cool!  But no surprise there given Chris' touch!

Our challenge for Addicted to Stamps and More is #425 Diecuts and/or Stencils. Talk about easy peasy, my favorite.

I sponged DO Seedless Preserves ombre-style on the card base then adhered the HA diecut panel on top.  I then watercolored the MFT image and popped her on top along with the sentiment. So cute!

Oh, man, you best avert your eyes or risk being blinded by the latest Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers Challenge #205 V for Vibrant.

Now I don't have any neighbors who would qualify as an airstrip but I have seen houses like that.  To each their own is my motto. Of course, I'm not having to buy blackout curtains or deal with excess traffic (ground or air!) due to the spectacle.

HLS Christmas - Twine

Are you ready for another Happy Little Stampers Christmas Challenge? This round the optional twist is twine. 

I surprised myself by actually using twine.  I generally avoid any embellishments that could add to postage, given how expensive it's become, but it was the perfect finishing touch for this bold card.

Color Throwdown #682 Guest Designer

I'm guest designing for the latest Color Throwdown Challenge #682. Woo hoo!  I hope you'll join the challenge this round--talk about fun colors!

I used the PFS Lush Vines Hot Foil Plate to emboss a panel then used the reverse side for this card. The Butterflies are also PFS, hot foiled in black and colored in Copics. I waffled about the sentiment but went with a somewhat cheeky one as I'm sending this to a friend who recently reached out to me for a check-in. She so gives me the feels! :)

ATSM #424 - Any Occasion

The latest Addicted to Stamps and More Challenge #424 is Any Occasion. Got a birthday coming up? Or maybe Easter or Mother's Day is more your bag. Well, this one's for you.

I embossed the Hero Arts Merry Poinsettia Bunch twice on my card front and watercolored it with Zigs.  I popped a Pinkfresh foiled holiday sentiment on top, keeping it simple so most of the card front would remain visible.  Swoon!
