ATCAS #290 - Rainbow

Come join in the fun at the Addicted to CAS Challenge #290 - Rainbow.  

A crafty friend sent me one of those card panels you can foil through a laminator. Instead, I took a piece of acetate and Copics to create a rainbow and popped it on top.  Easy!

ATSM #484 - Any Occasion

Addicted to Stamps & More! is back with our first challenge of 2025:  Any Occasion.  You'll also find that we've updated our blog look with clearer instructions and fresh badges.

I needed to make some thank you cards for holiday gifts received and decided to use a theme plus new crafty goodies--win, win!

The first card is for a friend who loves pink and cute and Lawn Fawn, not necessarily in that order but probably.

This second card uses the cut out hearts from the first card as part of the shaker guts. I normally toss those away before the cats get to them but made these cards in one session and managed to keep them safe.  

Btw, this is a minimal shaker in that I didn't pop up the full front but instead just a thick foam dot in the middle so it's shakeable but still mailable at regular postage rates.

For the final card I used my friend's favorite color and tags since she seems to love making those. What a weirdo!  ;-p

Little Snow Globe Bear--So Cute!

I will say it again:  Lawn Fawn is brilliant.  Not only did the Little Snow Globe sets from November's release rewhet my appetite for the Reveal Wheel that's been in my stash gathering dust for ages and ages, they are so darn cute!

I mixed together some older sets along with the new to create this adorable scene.  I'd like to think the cat is helping to carry the snow globe but in my house, the cats would be trying to wrest it away from me. LOL!

Get Away from That Snow Globe, Cat!

This.  This is what I'm afraid of when it comes to my sister's cats and holiday decorations. They are so inquisitive and ornery unlike my potato cats who couldn't give a fig about the tree and other decorations beyond the occasional drive-by sniff.

I used the new Lawn Fawn Reveal Wheel sets and combined them with some of my favorite holiday sets--Purrfectly Wicked and Furry & Bright.  The rug is from LF Christmas Dreams cut from LF 6x6 Knit Picky cardstock; I used 12x12 Knit Picky paper for the background.

The reveal wheel templates made it so easy to position the images and sentiment inside the snow globe.  They don't help you determine which order you should stamp your images though.  

I wanted the scene to be snowy, snowier, snowiest but instead got snowiest, snowier, snowy so let me stamp that again in reverse order. LOL.

Not to worry, I won't waste that wheel and instead will create a Reveal Wheel card with the wheel on the lefthand side of the card.

Cloche Shaker

This was an ambitious card, let me tell ya.  

I wanted to put the houses inside the cloche as seen but it didn't occur to me it would require foam tape  because of all the scene layers--DUH.  Once I realized that I figured I may as well turn it into a shaker while I had the foam out.  

My next attempt will be a gingerbread neighborhood using the village.  Now to find the time!

ATSM #456 - Make Your Mark

It's Make Your Mark this fortnight at the Addicted to Stamps and More Challenge. This is one of my favorites as the possibilities are endless.

I picked up the Essentials by Ellen Trim the Tree set during her retirement sale. Aren't the images adorable?  I paired them with Lawn Fawn window sets and sentiments to create a holiday tree-trimming scene.
