H is for Home over at The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers. Come join us. Snark optional, although we love to see it!
My idea comes from pineapples being the symbol of home/welcome back in the day. Of course, pineapples made me think of Spongebob Squarepants. So that's settled. Of course, no one really lives in a pineapple under the sea. It's a pineapple. Under the sea. And there you have the snark!
My card background is done primarily with the Copic Airbrush. There's a bit of drawing of the home to make it more like the one on the show. I used a typewriter for the sentiment. I love a vintage typewriter in concept but damn those key are stiff. Give me my soft-touch keyboard any day.
The Details: Stampendous Tropical Pineapple, Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside Border, Copics, Sakura Glaze Pens
Just love this, Toni! Jo x
ReplyDeleteYup, love it.
ReplyDeleteSuper cute, beautiful colouring and I love it too.
ReplyDeleteOh, this took me back! My BFF's son was a HUGE fan of Spongebob. (He's engaged now so you can imagine just how FAR back. LOL) Really love this and I'm impressed you still HAVE a typewriter. Fabulous card! P.S. your Frankie looks like my Goliath and smiles the same too. xxD
ReplyDeleteGenius! And absolutely gorgeous colouring. (There are typewriter computer fonts... :P)
ReplyDeleteSo where DOES SpongeBob SquarePants actually live then? Really beautiful card, love the colouring.
