Cat's Birthday

I'll be posting a card next week that uses the negatives of this card front.  Can't let a perfectly good scrap go to waste, now can I.

My nephew's birthday is coming up and he's at the age where cute is still okay but not TOO cute.  You totally know what I mean.  I had the idea of having it appear that we're the fish looking at the cats looking at us in our aquarium. I particularly love the cat with the monocle peering in for a closer look. I think the coral I used is fantastic but visually busier than anticipated so I kept the sea creatures white.  Plus, I was tired of coloring.  Too many cats! Oh, yes, this cat lady said it!

I'm entering this in The Male Room #87 Little Boys

The Details:  Mama Elephant Cat's Meow, Newton's Nook Shark Bites (sentiment), Lawn Fawn Porthole Frames, Taylored Expressions Build a Scene Underwater, Memory Box Curious Octopi, Twisting Tentacle and Small Alder Tree, Copics, Ranger Multi Medium Matte, Transparency Acetate, Distress Oxide Blueprint Sketch, Salty Ocean and Peacock Feathers
