I've been a busy cardmaking bee in the evenings this week. We were having carpet replaced with laminate and my craft table was the only entertainment available to me--best kind!
This is a card featuring the MFT Snow Buddies set paired up with my beloved Sunny Studio Scenic Route set. I masked the snowline using Inkadinkado Stamping Mask Paper then stamped the houses.
As I was coloring the sky, it occurred to me to add a shadowed mountainscape just like real life up here in the Pacific Northwest. Yet another way in addition to the masking to create visual depth.
I paper-pieced their hats using LF Snowday Remix 6x6 Paper. I'm not one for fussy cutting for I make an exception for things like this. So cute!
