SOSS #140 - S is for Sea
The new Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers challenge is here: #140 S is for Sea!
I stamped the MFT Mermazing gals with Versafine Onyx Black onto Strathmore Bristol Smooth cardstock. I then colored them with Zig Real Brush Watercolor Pens 022, 082, 072, 081, 222, and 052.
I masked them using Inkadinkado Masking Paper and then used my Copic airbrush and Copic B45 and B49 for seawater. I spattered that with alcohol blending solution; notice how the watercolor wasn't affected? Sweet. I also added a scale details using Copic YR07 and RV09.
I wanted to create a nauti (yeah, I went there) vignette using the Memory Box Graceful Branch Oval, turned on its side to look like seaweed, and Taylored Expressions Build a Scene Underwater dies. I cut out a variety and colored them with Distress Oxides. They are adhered to the card using Gina K Connect Glue. Now those gals have all the privacy they need! Shh. They might catch us peeking!
The card is finished off with a sentiment from Hero Arts Beach Messages and a tiny Memory Box Cheerful Crab cut out of a leftover.
