ATCAS #152 - Birds

Are you ready for a new Addicted to CAS Challenge? I am!  The inspiration word is "Birds."

Given that it's winter, I chose to feature a penguin.  They're so very waddly cute. I used Zig watercolor markers again and practiced shading with the black. I'm very pleased with how that turned out.  I'm also using my favorite Persian Blue. Dreamy.  Notice I sponged the back edge of the diecut hill with Distress Oxide to delineate it from the card base. I also drew in some movement lines. Sled fast or go home!

The Details:  Stacey Yacula Studio Sled, Hello Bluebird Skating Party, Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside Borders, Copic Multiliner, Zig Watercolor Markers, Versafine Onyx Black

  7. Toni this is absolutely adorable - and beautifully colored. I love the stitched slope die, too. It really adds to the movement of your penguin.

  8. Great Zig coloring, Toni. I think black is almost a difficult as red to use.
