Mini Joy

I am finally using the minis from one of my fav holiday sets last year!  They're so cute, aren't they?  The background is done with Distress Oxides, spattered with water, then spattered with Copic Opaque White.  Lots of great depth to it.

I'm entering this in Simon Says Wednesday Anything Goes, Watercooler Wednesday #163 All About Christmas

The Details:  Pretty Pink Posh Joy Shaker Die, Mama Elephant Me and My  Yeti, Yeti Sentiments, Distress Oxide Peacock Feathers and Twisted Citron, Copic Opaque White, Copics, Ranger Multi Medium Matte, Memento Luxe Love Letter, Memento Tuxedo Black

  1. Wow Toni, what a beautifully designed card! I love that wonderful background. Your technique really does add lots of depth. The stitched, scalloped border is lovely against the base card and frames your wonderful die-cut "joy" so well. Love those tiny images and the sentiment. I'm sure your card will bring joy, love and happiness to its recipient. Thanks so much for joining our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.

  5. Toni at first glance this is a simple card, however on closer exam it has all these terrific details. Those little characters surrounding the JOY circle are so sweet and beautifully coloured and the die cut for the sentiment is wonderful. I really like the scalloped edge rectangle you've used for your base and you did a terrific job with the oxides colouring it. Awesome. Thanks so much for joining our Watercooler Wednesday All About Christmas challenge this week.
