Birthday Butterfly Shaker

Beyond spending quality time with those I love, one of the nicest things about my current vacation is having a bit of time to play around with new goodies.

I loved the samples for the TE Butterflies kit and was excited/relieved to find they had the Taylored Expressions Butterflies Stamp & Stencil Combo as able to be purchased separately.  They were as easy to use as it looked too.  I used Distress Oxide Peacock Feathers, Candied Apple, and Wilted Violet.

I made this one into a flat shaker, placing a sandwich of vellum and acetate under the Mama Elephant Oval Deco Frame so the embossed sentiment would be more easily read.

Peaceful Christmas Dawn

A Dandy Summer Day

I'm playing along with the Lawnfawnatics Challenge #104 Summertime Fun. 

I love plaid so naturally combined the LF Perfectly Plaid paper in the summery melon colorway with LF Dandy Day paper. I used a navy blue beneath the LF Giant Sending Big Hugs diecut so it would pop. 

I used Copic E40, E41, E42, E43, E44, G85, and R20 to color the cute LF Dandy Day Mice. Adorable!

HLS Christmas - Jingle Bells

I'm really excited to have joined the Happy Little Stampers design team again, this time on the Christmas team.  Woo hoo!

It's anything goes as usual with the optional theme of Jingle Bells which is what I chose to do.

I used the sentiment from the Avery Elle Christmas Mice as the inspiration for this card.  It goes so perfectly with the MFT Cheers die.
