Turbo Trees, Take 2

This is my second attempt at the As You See It Challenge #337 Turbo Trees challenge.  I made it just under the wire with 9m53s.

I had "plenty of time" left when I decided to distress the edges. What was I thinking?!  I would have made this one in probably 8 mins otherwise.  I could have skipped the embossing for added time but that's, like, the best part!

Btw, I do recommend the Tim Holtz Distress Speciality Stamping Paper for fast heat-gun drying.  It's coated and handled Brushos beautifully for this speed challenge.

I'm also entering this in Simon Says Monday Trees.

I've listed the products used below.
  • Hero Arts November 2017 Kit
  • Brushos:  Purple, Turquoise, Yellow, Brilliant Red
  • Ranger Archival Jet Black
  • Tim Holtz Distress Speciality Stamping Paper
  • Stampin' Up Linen Embossing Folder
  • Distress Ink Black Soot
  • Red & Gold Wink of Stella

  2. The brusho is very dramatic - I keep forgetting I have some! It makes a very dramatic backdrop for your tree. Another great card. Thanks for being brave enough to take on the speed challenge at AYSI twice!
