Cheesy Mice Christmas

I made quite a few cards using the Lawn Fawn 2024 holiday release, including ones using the Cheesy Mice.  I even bought the stencils.  Talk about quick coloring!

Foiled Snowflakes Cards

I've joined the CASE IT Instagram Hop where each month we choose a project we were inspired by on IG and make it our own.  Cool concept, right?  Feel free to hop along and read more.  

I got out my solid hot foil plate so I could reverse hot foil and do some experiments at the same time.  This first one used Hammermill 100.  I was disappointed in the splotchy coverage on the bottom half.

This next one used Hammermill 100lb again but with a shim.  Meh.  I did wonder at this point if the age of the hot foil matters.

And finally I got out some glossy photo paper, the kind that came with a printer back in the day.  This gave the best result of all.  So now I'm wondering if when you run it through on regular paper, does some of that paper adhere to the hot foil even tho you can't really see it?  Does it interefere with adhesion to a new piece of paper?  Only more experiments will tell!

Gold Village

Lately I've been into adding a lot of black to my cards--frames, backgrounds, you name it.  Rather weird.  Normally this time of year all I want to see are bright rainbow colors to combat the PNW gloom.  Glitter and hot foil certainly help tho!

I'm entering this in Inkspirational #330 Mood Board where I was inspired by the lighted village, stars, black and scripty letters.  It certainly does fit my current mood.
