SOSS #107 - U is for Umbrella

Time for the new the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers Challenge #107 - Umbrella! Again, your card doesn't have to be snarky but it must feature an umbrella which is perfect for this time of year up in these parts. Actually it's pretty much needed year-round in the PNW!

I have been wanting to use this umbrella stencil for ages and the sentiment for even longer. I brushed various Distress Oxides to create a rainbow then spattered it with water.  While that was drying I colored up the Brutus Monroe Be Unique Bunny which I adore. The cut the ME cloud then stamped the R and Co sentiment before trimming it down to suit. A few more raindrop sequin sprinkles and done!

I’m entering this in Inkspirational #158 Rain Photo, Addicted to Stamps and More #286 Anything Goes, Tuesday Throwdown #386 Rainbow Colors

The Details:  Brutus Monroe Be Unique, Riley and Co sentiment, Distress Oxides, Mama Elephant Landscape Trio Dies, Copics, Stampendous Dreamweaver Lynell Harlow Brass Stencil, Ranger Glossy Accents and Multi Medium Matte

  1. What an awesome stencil, what a fabulous card, love the image and the sentiment. I giggled when I read it because when my son was young we always looked to the clouds and see if we could find things in them, in fact sometimes I do it now.

  2. Ha ha ha ha ha ha that sentiment is hilarious!!!
Love all the colours in your brollies!

  3. 1. You have an umbrella stencil! 2. Riley has a funny sentiment to go with just about anything! 3. Oh, that bunny!

  4. This umbrella stencil is so pretty and your rainbow inking looks amazing! The splattering couldn't be more perfect or more appropriate to the theme, well thought! Very fun card. Thanks for joining us at Inkspirational!
