A New Stamp Set . . . Or Is It?

Our challenge this month at the House of Cards is to use enamel dots.  There are SO MANY possibilities with them.  Why not have a go and join us?  Hope to see you there!

On my card I created my dots using Enamel Accents and the extra large one by melting a mini pony bead in the oven. Yes, that's right, a pony bead from the craft store.  It takes about 10 minutes at 425F.  You can check You Tube for a demo.

The rest of my card started in the kitchen too.  Can you take a guess at my new floral stamp set?  It's totally familiar but, tap-tap-tap, where have you seen it before?  You were totally right if you guessed a celery heart.  Seriously!  I inked the celery directly from the pad and applied to the paper with fab results.  The colors were a little blotchy at first but dried beautifully and the paper had no ill effects from any residual celery juice.  So cool!

The Details:  Celery Heart, Papertrey Ink Meadow Greens leaf, 7 Gypsies sentiment, Distress Ink Worn Lipstick and Spun Sugar, VersaFine Onyx Black, Memento Pear Tart, Enamel Accents, pony bead, Simon Says stitched rectangle die, Recollections 110 lb cardstock, Glossy Accents

I'm entering this in Simon Says Anything Goes

  16. I don't like eating celery so this is the perfect way to use it. How did you come up with such a brilliant idea?? Will be looking at my fruit and vegies in a new light from now on.....I would never have known by looking at your card. You might put the stamp companies out of the business, they will all have to start growing vegies instead!!!
