BRI - Trash Can

It's graduation season as well as PRIDE month so for today's Butterfly Reflections Ink card I combined the two occasions.

I used Spellbinders Rainbow Glimmer Hot Foil with Scor-Tape and the Lawn Fawn Henry's ABCs to create the sentiment.  I LOVE this so so much!  I used the same foil on the Lawn Fawn Fireworks Hot Foil Plates so matchy matchy.

The MFT Yuzu Little Rascal raccoons tie in to the graduation theme as well.  Check out the inside of the card.  Punny and so so cute!

I must say I colored the raccoons twice.  The first time I used Copics in the neutral gray (N) family but they didn't show up well against the dark blue background (I suppose that's the point when you're a raccoon, right?) so I recolored them using gray-brown which made a huge difference.  Whew, card saved!

ATCAS #240 - Rainbow Colours

ATSM #448 - Birthdays

It's birthday time at the Addicted to Stamps and More Challenge.  I created a berry sweet (tee hee!) birthday card that's perfect for summer. 

I started by cutting out a lot of strawberries which I sponged with Catherine Pooler Rockin' Red for brightness and Distress Oxide Aged Mahogany for shading. I didn't to add too much bulk so for the seeds I colored a piece of printer paper in black as a backing for the strawberries.

The LF Quilted Hearts Backdrop reminded me of the seeds plus mirrored the basket grid pattern. I thought about making it on white on blue but thought it would be too visually cluttered.  I'll save that for a different card.  

I originally cut the LF Birthday out of Doodlebug Lily White Glitter Cardstock but decided it didn't show up enough so used it as a sassy shadow for the one I ombre colored.

BRI - Teapot Spring Greenery

The cuteness abounds on my blog today!  Look at those bees!  Yes, I used them again but hadn't intended to.  

I knew I wanted to use the Honey Bee Lovely Layers Spring Greenery that I picked up from Butterfly Reflections Ink and decided to use the Lawn Fawn Stitched Teapot as a vase.  How whimsical and cute, right?

I left the teapot white to pair up with the Queen Anne's lace but then it seemed too plain so bees to the rescue along with a pale pale blue outline.

I'm entering this in Lawn Fawnatics #150 Botanical Photo Inspiration.
