Snappy Fish

A very cute and fun card today.  I have a bunch of October birthdays coming up so thought I would give myself a fin up on those (fin up, get it??? LOL).  My nephew is getting to the age where cute cute is too cute but cute punny is probably ok.  I hope!

I started by adding Brushos to my card front after masking off a circle.  I let that dry a bit then removed the mask and carefully added a little lemon Brushos and spritzed again.  I wanted some green edges but still a bright spot of yellow; I am really pleased with how that turned out.  I splattered the lot with plain water, let dry, then embossed it with the waves stamp.  Cute!  I colored the angler fish in bright pink then added yellow as thought its lure were casting light on its own body.  Way cool!   I added a googly eye because I just had to and Glossy Accented its teeth.  Smile!

I'm entering this in AAA #71 Blending, Lawnscaping #136 Punny Time, Simon Says Wednesday Let's Go Wild

The Details:  Avery Elle That Bites, Newton's Nook Shark Bites (sentiment), VersaFine Onyx Black, Glossy Accents, Turquoise and Sunburst Lemon Brushos, The Robin's Nest Teardrops and Clear Dots, Ranger Watercolor Paper, Zig Detail Watercolor Brush, Versamark, Stampendous Detail Fine White Embossing Powder, Copics, My Favorite Things Whimsical Waves
