Cupcake Thank You

This is one of the sets I bought myself for my recent birthday and I made it into a thank you card for someone from the Lawn Fawn Addicts FB Birthday Group who had sent me a card.  Fitting, right?  I think of this one as a lemon cupcake with lavender infused frosting and candied fruit garnish.  Yum!

Little tip:  To spatter the card without spattering the cupcake, I placed the stamp over the image and used it as a photopolymer mask.

DB - Slimline Trees "Leftovers"

Butterfly Birthday

I played around further with the TE Butterflies Stamp & Stencil Combo, using a totally different palette than last time.  These are so versatile. I could have easily used a different sentiment for a thank you or somesuch.  And each is unique.  Love!

Birthday Butterfly Shaker

Beyond spending quality time with those I love, one of the nicest things about my current vacation is having a bit of time to play around with new goodies.

I loved the samples for the TE Butterflies kit and was excited/relieved to find they had the Taylored Expressions Butterflies Stamp & Stencil Combo as able to be purchased separately.  They were as easy to use as it looked too.  I used Distress Oxide Peacock Feathers, Candied Apple, and Wilted Violet.

I made this one into a flat shaker, placing a sandwich of vellum and acetate under the Mama Elephant Oval Deco Frame so the embossed sentiment would be more easily read.
