ATSM #436 - Make Your Mark

I've had this squid in my collection for quite some time and was eager to pull it out for the latest Addicted to Stamps & More Challenge #436 Make Your Mark.

I colored the image up with Zigs then applied some Polychromos shading before adding the stencil waves.  That sentiment--so very very perfect with his expression!

Welcome to the latest Addicted to CAS Challenge #226 Tropical. I hope you'll play along with us while summer is still upon us.

My goodness how I miss Birdie Brown designs so I penguins were the natural selection for this fortnight's tropical theme.  Until I travelled to South Africa and saw jackass penguins irl, I thought all penguins were in cold climes.  Of course, with global warming pretty soon no one will be in the cold.

HLS Christmas - Flowers

I naturally thought of poinsettias for the latest Happy Little Stampers Christmas Challenge with optional code word "Flowers."  I have quite a few in my stash but decided to use one I hadn't used yet.

I think the colors are a bit brighter in real life as is the nature of Zigs but you get the general idea.

ATSM #435 - Diecuts and/or Stencils

This fortnight at the Addicted to Stamps and More Challenge is #435 Diecuts and/or Stencils.

I used a variety of stencils to create the background using primarily Distress Oxides with some Delicata Golden Glitz.

I've been in an introspective mood with some life changes in the works so used one of my favorite silhouette images along with some affirming sentiments on top.
