ATSM #471 - Make Your Mark

It's Make Your Mark time at the Addicted to Stamps & More Challenge #471.  If you use a coloring medium of any sort, you can join in the fun!

I realized the Lawn Fawn Simply Celebrate sets would fit very well with the Mama Elephant Tri Window Cover Die so did a holiday mashup.

I stamped and colored up the Lawn Fawn images, then used a candy cane stripe paper with the Tri Window.  I sponged just a tiny bit of Salvaged Patina in the bottom two windows.  I used Red Stickles on Rudolph's nose to tie in with the Lawn Fawn Big Scripty Be Merry.

ATCAS #261 - Critter

Don't these little alpacas look cozy warm and ever so ready for the Addicted to CAS #261 Critter challenge?

I created a simple scene using the Sunny Studio Alpaca Holiday set, coloring them up with Copics that had more of a muted gray tone than my usual.  

I used WOW! White Puff Twinkle Embossing Powder on the snowcaps to add some glamorous texture.  So sparkly!

CAS on Friday #286 - Nature

Nature is the topic for the latest CAS on Friday Challenge this fortnight.  

I live in the Pacific Northwest and thought of the mountains naturally but also how we're known as the Evergreen State for a very good reason.  A bit less green with the increasing housing density unfortunately but still lovely to see outside the city.

I used the diecut negative to create another holiday card using up a watercolor panel where I dabbed a bit of Catherine Poolers inks at the top then spritzed with water and let it drip down. Cool!

ATCAS #260 - Music

Sing it loud at the latest Addicted to CAS #260 Challenge with a music focus. I wish I could sing but I'm as far from perfect pitch as you can be but I have a great ear so I can so so hear how bad I am!

I used the Avery Elle Carolers (already had them stamped & cut out--yay!) and mixed it with the Spellbinders Essential Arches to create a little scene.  Aren't they so so cute?

CAS on Friday #285 - Embossing

We're asking for there to be some embossing on your project for the latest CAS on Friday Challenge #285.  

I used a blingy blue embossing powder for my embossed element as well as Glossy Accents on the car windows and lights.  You can sort of see that in the below pic.  A strip of black glitter washi serves as pavement.  I guess that makes it sort of embossed too.  Nice!

I found the striped paper diecut with a scalloped rectangle die in my stash so used it up after adding some stenciled dots and squares. I've been waiting until I had the perfect idea for this pair of siblings in the vintage photo from Tim Holtz.  

This is so true to what siblings would say to each other, at least in my family.  And look at that boy's face.  That was some comeback from his sis apparently. LOL.
