Winter Pines

Last year, I think, I made a panel with Brushos and cut them out with rounded rectangle dies which I then coulnd't figure out what to do with.

This year I pieced those panels back together and diecut them again using Memory Box Frosted Christmas Trees dies.  Rather than using the included snow layer, I instead used Cosmic Shimmer Fluffy Stuff which is fluffin' amazing!

Mixed Media Pink Snowflakes

I was playing around with my new Memory Box Pine Tree Hill dies which both cut and impress. It occurred to me to try sponging the die like you might an embossing folder.  It worked!  I then used Distress Snowfall Grit Paste over  the die.  It's a cool effect! I do wonder if I had used an archival ink if the ink wouldn't have blurred but I like it either way.
