Simon Says Stamp - Floral Love

Here I've used the SSS Love You Very Much die and Swoopy Flowers from the Kisses release. This was a really simple card to make with a bit of masking and watercoloring.  I did smudgy finger the central panel so ended up fussy cutting the floral panels and popping them on another piece of cardstock. So so me.  LOL.

Simon Says Stamp - Best Ever

I got my latest Simon Says Stamp Golden Bone package for the Kisses release and finally had time to play a bit. I cannot believe it's already almost February--what the heck!

I must admit I LOVE how this card turned out.  I wanted to try using alcohol ink on the Simon Champage Matte Foil cardstock and wow, wow, wow!  So sassy!

I then embossed the Jumbled Hearts background using Versamark with a translucent yellow embossing powder. I wish you could fondle this.  Yes, fondle!

Fairy Happy Holidays

I tried a technique where you (3D) emboss cardstock then hot foil it as is.  Umm,  yeah, didn't turn out quite like I hoped but rather cool anyway.

Lawn Fawn Skunks

Oh, happy day!  I took some time, some much needed me time, to work up a Valentine using some new stuff including the adorable Lawn Fawn Scent with Love stamps set, Portrait Heart Garland Backdrop and the Woodgrain Hot Foil Plate.  See a full listing of products used below.

I jazzed the hearts up using pink glitter cardstock that I ombre airbrushed with Copic R29.  I like using the airbrush but the cats aren't a fan. Hiss, hiss!

Jingle Bells

I saw that the latest Jingle Belles Challenge calls for bells and guess whose sister just got the Honey Bee Layering Holiday Bells? This girl!

There are an infinite number of combinations for making up these bells--different paper, colors, with bling, without bling (what?!), lots of layers or minimal ones.  I had lots of fun!

Taylored Expressions Holly Holiday with an A2 Twist

I was able to borrow the Taylored Expressions Mini Slim Layering Stencils from my sister. The colors combos are endless.  Seriously.

I went with a modern color combo and trimmed down each into a panel that would fit on an A2 card. I don't prefer doing slimline cards because then I have to think about dimensions--eww.  LOL.

Thsi one is my favorite on the bunch.  I love poinsettias in general and this one pairs so well with the Taylored Expressions Modern Holiday sentiments, naturally.

I'm entering this one in Christmas Craft Creations January Snippets.

For this card I cut out the stenciled part of the panel with one of my new Spellbinders Essential Arches dies then used my The Greetery A2 Arches Stencils/Masks to created a border.  Of course, I decided to do this after I embossed the base using the Spellbinderes Snowflake Sparkle Background Hot Foil Plate.  

In any case, super easy and less bulky so maybe I can actually afford to mail this. Postage cost increases are understandable but ouch.

Simon Says Stamps: Jumbled Hearts

I used the Simon Says Stamp Jumbled Hearts from the Hugs release for this Valentine. I used bright Catherine Pooler and Distress Inks.

I had intended to make a shaker but also wanted to use that glitter cardstock so skipped the shaker and embossed the acetate then added a couple of additional glitter hearts.  This makes my heart happy!
