It's a Cool, Cool Summer

I've begun designing thank you cards for those who have guest designed for Tonya's The Heart Desires store blog.  Cool idea, huh?  Get it?  Cool?  Oh, yeah, I'm punny like that.  I'm also a selfish little minx who doesn't think she can give this card away--so cute!!!

I started out with the idea of the banner thanks to Curtain Call and knew I wanted to use my Lawn Fawn Here's the Scoop set . . . which I've never used, if you can believe that!  I colored up the elements in ombre for the heck of it, plus looks a little melty and more visually interesting.  I also recalled cute ice cream paper but, dang, that is some busy paper so white panel on top.

TIP:  I cut out the centers of my background DP to use for later maybe, hopefully. Why waste what's going to be hidden by another layer?

I'm so happy I finally found a card worthy of the glitter enamel dots!  I think I got this at Halloween last year because another color in the set is dark purple.  Sounds Halloweeny, right?
