Simon Says Stamp - Folksy Cat Thank You

I used the Simon Says Stamps Folksy Cats set from my Golden Ticket Out of This World release goodies. Aren't they amazing?  I'm a cat lover but even if I weren't I would still love them.

I paired the cats with a SSS Swoopy Flowers sentiment for a series of simple thank you cards. I added the LF Just Stitching Double Circles almost like the cats were embroidered. Neat!

BRI - Awesome Rainbow Birthday

It's Butterfly Reflections Ink Monday again (can you believe how quickly summer is passing us by?!) and have I got a cute card for you.

I created the shaker "packet" using the Lawn Fawn Secret Garden Window with a scrap piece of Copic-friendly cardstock beneath so I could stamp and color the LF Elephant Parade Add-On images directly on it--thus, no edges to stop the rainbow confetti from moving about.

I adhered that to the LF Itsy Bitsy Polka Dot Backdrop card front. If you want a little something-something on your card front but not too much, the polka dots or polka hearts in white on white are a great option.

Notice I trimmed off some of the Secret Garden Window greenery along the top and added happy little clouds in its place. I added the same paper for the banner sentiment which helped to balance the scene as well as being super fun and cute.

Simon Says Stamp - Extra Proud

It was so hard to take a photo of this card and capture the neon inks I used on this card using Simon Says Stamp Extra Proud from the Dear Friend release.  Argh!  You'll have to trust me this is even brighter than this--like put on those sunglasses bright. I thought about making the heart rainbow but decided to go with rainbow words and a graphic heart.

I was listening to a summer-themed online playlist and Margaritaville by Jimmy Buffet came on. And, man, I could really do with a margarita to help keep the heat at bay. Like all the margaritas!  LOL.

I used the Simon Says Stamp Supercalifragilistic set (thanks for the SSS Golden Ticket goodies!) along with a couple of strawberries from Lawn Fawn.

Simon Says Stamp - Floral Thanks

I'm so glad I had a moment to play with more of the Simon Says Stamp Golden Bone winner goodies that I've been sent. Check out this GORGEOUS Floral Clusters Embossing Folder. The texture and detail is beyond amazing.  It happens to be part of the current SSS sale so grab it while you can!

I considered leaving it uncolored but ultimately decided to watercolor. I love watercoloring as I find it relaxing, maybe because it's less structured than when I use Copics.  It's just what I need when I feel like low-key crafting.

BRI - Shell-ebrate Your Birthday!

Today I have a two-fer for you, sort of.  It's Butterfly Reflections Ink Monday as well as the start of the Happy Little Stampers Watercolour Challenge with optional code word "happy." So two purposes, not two cards. Boo, I know.

My card, a mash up between Lawn Fawn and Waffle Flower, certainly is happy.  I masked the different areas and stamped the LF underwater images from a few sets.  This would have been a lot easier if I had the Waffle Flower Postage Collage Coloring Stencil but it was sold out.  I'm sure BRI will be getting more soon; I can't wait!

I used Kuretake Zig Real Brush Markers to color the images, Distress Ink Salvaged Patina for the backgrounds, and Copics for the little accent dots. Of course, I added more accents with Copic Opaque White.  So so cute!

ATCAS #244 - Leaves

The latest Addicted to CAS Challenge #244 is all about leaves.  

I used the opportunity to use a Lawn Fawn set I hadn't inked up in a long time.  Like so long I don't remember using it.  😬

I masked the mouse sitting on the leaf.  I didn't bother masking the other mouse and instead just positioned the clouds stencils to miss it as I sponged with Distress Oxide Salvaged Patina.

I added a sentiment to the interior about hope you have a happy day.  I will likely use this as a birthday card but it could be for any occasion really.  Just so so cute!
