SOSS #207 - A for ATC

I am so glad this fortnight's Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers Challenge is A for ATC. 

Last year (?) I worked on the 52 ATC pickup or something like that and have about 8 more to go.  Or is that 7 now with this ATC or 8 after this ATC.  In any case, one step closer to being done!

This card reflects my relationship with my kid sister. We do love our shenanigans.  Also, with age, I am developing a bit of a mustache. LOL.

ATCAS #217 - Animals

The latest Addicted to CAS Challenge is #217 Animals. Such a fun and easy code word--for me anyway.

I selectively embossed the background by cutting a couple of pieces of cardboard (like cereal box weight) into a hill shape then using that as one of the plates in my embossing sandwich. Worked a treat! I did use a ball stylus on a piece of foam (the back of my mousepad) to emphasize the delination between sky and hill.

ATSM #426 - Make Your Mark

My favorite of the Addicted to Stamps and More weekly challenges has arrived:  Make Your Mark. However you want to color--paint, ink, watercolor, pencil, whatever it might be--all are fair game.

I used Copics on my card with a bit of ink sponging and spattering.  I ended up ordering a couple of other of the Dina Wakley Acrylic Sprays.  That glossy yellow is so IT.
