ATCAS #210 - Circle

It's time for the next Addicted to CAS Challenge #210: Circle. I hope you're able to join us!

My card is super simple to make with just a few overlapping, sponged circles with a couple of leaves stamped on top. I chose colors that evoke fall for me as that's my favorite season.

Speckled Snowman 11/9

So happy to have finally found the Penny Black Snowy stamp which I think was re-released 3 or 4 years ago.  I found it on Amazon as a wood stamp from, get this, 2008. I think re-released since I saw it pop up a lot recently (recent = a year or two pre-COVID).

I was inspired by Bobbi Lemanski on the Honey Bee Stamps blog. I spattered my trees with a combo of Distress Oxides and Inks and watercolored the PB Snowy image. I designed this as a take and make for some friends so kept it really simple with diecut hills and sentiment. I think they're going to love this whimsical design.

HLS Christmas - Make a Scene

Are you ready for a new Happy Little Stampers Christmas Challenge?  The optional theme this month is Make a Scene.

I dove into my precious Purple Onion Stacey Yacula stash to create a cute, rather masculine woodland scene. Her images are just soooooooo cute!

I had planned to color the ground squirrel as a skunk but grabbed the wrong color--the darkest brown--so ground squirrel saved the day.

Faux Vintage Collage Holiday

I am so glad I was able to pick up the Tim Holtz Idea-ology Christmas Collage Paper while my local shop still had it in stock. It's GORGEOUS.  

I used Scor-Tape to secure it to my card front then added some diecut elements. It sparked some other ideas for me too although who knows when I'll have a chance to do anything about them.  We all know how that is!

I hope you're sitting down because I'm using a Stamptember set the SAME YEAR as when I bought it! I paired it up with other Lawn Fawn tropical goodies to create a tropical holiday because why not. 

I used neon bright tropicali colors to brighten up someone's holiday; could that someone be my niece who LOVES sloths?  Mayyyyybe.
