Whimsy - Cutie Elf

Oh my goodness, I think the new Whimsy Jingle All the Way set is beyond cute!

I decided to stamp the image directly onto the Blurry Flurries paper tho I had no idea how the paper would handle Copics. Turns out I had nothing to worry about.  The paper didn't make the Copics bleed nor was it hard to blend. Woo hoo!

Embossing the sentiment was my final step--I love how that silver looks with the blue.  So, so pretty!

Be sure to check out the other new goodies in the Whimsy shop!

Gold Poinsettia

I fully intended to watercolor this but decided I liked it just as it is.

I'm using the Gina K Stamptember set from last year along with GK Red Hot and Ranger Gold embossing powders.

Whimsy - Winter Wonderland

Have you checked out the latest Whimsy Stamps mini release?  You totally should.  It's full of cuteness!

Here I'm using the Magical Winter set, coloring it up with Copics on a panel I had diecut using a Wonky Stitched Rectangle Die. I then used the Elegant Snowflake Border Dies to diecut the panel.

I applied Doodlebug Design glitter beneath the snowflakes then glued the snowflakes back down. Whew--that was time consuming but I love the results.

Whimsy - Fairy Sweet

Today is the first Whimsy Stamps mini release for November and it's full of cuteness, maybe even more than usual.  Can it be?!

Here I'm using the Fairy Sweet rubber stamp along with the Elegant Snowflake Border Dies.

First I stamped and colored up the fairy, no line style. I then masked her and created a messy, spattered background using Distress Oxide Salty Ocean, Blueprint Sketch, Chipped Sapphire, and Tumbled Glass, topped off by the Elegant Snowflake Border Dies.  I used both the border and the individual snowflakes.

The cuteness is too much!  I'll be back with another new release card soon.  In the meantime, be sure to take a gander at the other goodies in the Whimsy shop.
