Foxy Holidays

I'm playing along with the Christmas Kickstart Challenge #37 Festive Furbabies today.

Lots of my beloved Stacey Yacula Purple Onion used here along with my Zigs. I added in some MFT Mini Cloud Edges sky as well. Distress Oxide Peacocks Feathers used with that.

DB - Lots of Leaves

I picked up some new goodies from the Doodlebugs shop and had great fun combining them.  Can you believe leaves are the same MFT die on both?!  More details on the Doodlebugs blog!

Messy Poinsettia

I hope you're sitting down.  I'm playing along with CAS(E) this Sketch! #388 this week AND am actually posting it on time.  LOL.

I was really drawn to the sketch as it's perfect to show off the new Waffle Flower Poinsettia set.

I stamped the image with Versafine Vintage Sepia and colored it up with Peerless watercolors, adding more shadow with Polychromos (172, 174, 217, 226 and 267).

I then spattered some Peerless brown and gold as well as Copic Opaque White. Once dry, I stamped the sentiment with Versafine Onyx Black and diecut the panel.

TFS - Autumn/Fall

Whimsy - Boo Kitty

Did I not tell you yesterday that the new Whimsy Stamps release is spooktacular?!  Just look at this too cute to spook kitten from the Spooky Kitties set.

I colored up the image using Copics. I chose an unusual chartreuse green card base which I thought went so well with the strip of Haunted 6x6 Paper leftover from yesterday's haunted mansion card. I added a few Distress Oxide Black Soot spiders from the Halloween Creatures Stencil.

I enhanced one of the Nested Hexagon Dies with Distress Oxide and mounted the kitty on top.  I then cut out "BOO" using the Bold ABC Dies.  This makes me chuckle as one of my own cats loves to hide and leap out at you (the other is a potato--LOL).

Whimsy - Haunted Mansion

BOO! Today is the first of Whimsy Stamps' three new releases this month and they're so fabulous!  Not all scary (I wish) but full of fun nonetheless.

For this card I diecut a piece of the new Haunted 6x6 Paper with a Wonky Stitched Rectangle Die. This paper is to die for (bwa ha ha)--seriously, this makes creating a spooky scene so darn easy!

I fussy cut out the house from the Slimline Hill House Die (this is my favorite slimline die evah!) and distressed it using white pigment ink.

To finish off the scene I cut and adhered words from Graveyard Haunted Mansion Dies and Chills Word Dies. So ready to get my spook on!

I've used the Slimline Five Frames Die, removing the inner two sections to create a picture window on my cute Autumnal scene featuring Beaver Birthday, Mountain Majesty Dies, Wavy Nested Frames Dies, and Fall Dangle Stencil.

I even went so far as to add Glossy Accent raindrops to the acetate. How fun!
