ARTplorations Stencil Hop Day 4

The stencil hop at STAMPlorations continues with even more fantastic projects from the DT. Come check out how we've been using the fab ARTplorations stencils!

I masked off the ARTplorations Circular 2 stencil to create a world globe that I sponged with Distress Inks.  A little Celtic, a lot of fun.  I adore how the Cutplorations Peace on Earth die wraps around the bottom of the globe--total happenstance.  Score!

ARTplorations Stencil Blog Hop Day 3

Yet another stenciled card for the ARTplorations blog hop.  I just can't get enough!   Come check out how we've been using the fab ARTplorations stencils!

I found the front panel with the sentiment already stamped on it--I don't recall what my intention had been but why let it go to waste. Jingle Bells is such a fun holiday song and one of the earliest I remember learning as a child. Good memories.

I sponged the leaping deer from the ARTplorations Christmas Reindeer stencil in various Distress Inks to create a whimsical rainbow of sorts.  The black strip at the bottom grounds the card and the sequins act as snow. So fresh and fun!

Stamplorations CAS Mid-Challenge Reminder!

Today is both the mid-challenge reminder for the current Stamplorations CAS December challenge using the optional colors of red and green as well as Day 2 of the stencil hop.  Dude, that's a lot of eye candy!

For my card, I stamped the Stamplorations Warm Hands, Warm Heart sled then masked it off before using the Artplorations Christmas Trees stencil. When you remove the mask, the tree now looks like it's behind the sled.  I colored the sled and ground with some of my favorite Copic combos--RV, BG and YG.  Yum!

ARTporations Stencil Hop Day 1

We are having a fun stencil hop at STAMPlorations--lots of inspiration using the ARTplorations stencils to be had.  Come check it out!

I used the ARTplorations Delicate Leaves stencil to create a designer travel coffee mug from the Anywhere There's Coffee set in a bright pink with a bright yellow backdrop.  Can you tell it's been gray and dreary here so some color was in order? The bold STAMPlorations After Coffee sentiment is perfect for this cheerful card!

Vintage Gold Christmas

Okay, so here's the thing.  When I make a card, I usually have only a vague idea of what I want to do or use.  In this case, I had been using Delicata on another card and then I wondered how it would look stamped out using the Concord & 9th Stripe Builder set.  That turned out very cool.  Glitzy but soft.  So let's keep going with that theme and stamp and emboss a tree in gold.  Dreamy.  Sorta boring tho.  Let's distress the edges!  Big whoop.  Still boring.  Let's spatter some Peerless gold "snow" here, there, and (unfortunately) frickin' everywhere.  Mmm, liking this.  Ribbon!  I ran the Delicata over seam binding with fantastic results.  I love the look of that perfectly matched ribbon.  The sentiment is so fab in that bold black and perfectly balanced by the tree and bow.

I'm entering this in City Crafter #341 The Tree is Up! -- Dang!  Missed the deadline!

The Details:  Concord and 9th O Christmas Tree and Stripe Builder, Delicata Golden Glitz, Versafine Onyx Black, Ranger Multi Medium Matte, Watercolor Paper and Clear Super Fine Detail Embossing Powder, Peerless Transparent Metallic Gold, Hug Snug Seam Binding, Pretty Pink Posh sequins

Xmas Berries

Another of the lovely Penny Black holiday releases.  A bit too much water (see the muddy leaves) but I used Zigs to add depth and brightness back in.  Whew!

The Heart Desires Challenge #7!

The Heart Desires Challenge #7 is live and is our best one yet.  I'm not kidding!  We've changed the format up a bit to give you even more eye candy inspiration.  See what I mean?  Look at that fantastic graphic!

I wanted to use the deer (omg, so cute!) a well as the soft colors and a bit of foil.  Really hard to tell there's foil on the background paper in the first pic but you can see it quite well below. Do you think of trees with that paper? Love!

The Details:  My Mind's Eye On Trend 2 6x6 paper, Avery Elle Dotted Borders and Joy dies, and Kitsch Christmas, Waffle Flower Lacy Layers Die, Impression Obsession Birch Trees (bird die), Amy Tangerine hemp, Hero Arts Floral Border with Frame die
