Twinkle Lights Again, But on White

Last time I showcased these fab Spellbinders De-light-ful Christmas hot foil plates I did it on black.  This time they're on white but I did two sets, one in shades of blue with silver foil & glitter and the other multi-colored with gold.  They're just so very fun!

Skinny Evergreens

Another set of holiday cards using trees that I got last holiday season and, in this case, using a leftover mixed media panel and my Copic airbursh.  I'm entering this one in Simon Says Monday Trees.

This one is an ultra simple card where I used a stencil and my Copic airbrush to create the horizon.

Bottle Brush Trees

Aren't these glittery bottle brush trees amazing?  I went all out and included a glittery background as well with a bit of white pigment ink on the bottom for snow.

CAS on Friday - Christmas

Are you ready for another CAS on Friday challenge?  I know you're not ready for Christmas, surely not, so am happy to say our latest challenge helps build your holiday card stash.

I used the Ellen Hutson All Wrapped Up set to create a one layer card colored with alcohol inks.  I thought about cutting out and layering some mini Xmas lights I have or maybe covering these with Glossy Accents to give it a bit of dimension but decided to keep it easy peasy.

Jive Turkey, Yo

We're having a really small Thanksgiving this year and I'm so very thankful.  These turned out so so cute but all that diecutting was a LOT.  Of course, some of that was on me for deciding to use designer paper for the tail front and back but look how fab they look!

Get Away from That Snow Globe, Cat!

This.  This is what I'm afraid of when it comes to my sister's cats and holiday decorations. They are so inquisitive and ornery unlike my potato cats who couldn't give a fig about the tree and other decorations beyond the occasional drive-by sniff.

I used the new Lawn Fawn Reveal Wheel sets and combined them with some of my favorite holiday sets--Purrfectly Wicked and Furry & Bright.  The rug is from LF Christmas Dreams cut from LF 6x6 Knit Picky cardstock; I used 12x12 Knit Picky paper for the background.

The reveal wheel templates made it so easy to position the images and sentiment inside the snow globe.  They don't help you determine which order you should stamp your images though.  

I wanted the scene to be snowy, snowier, snowiest but instead got snowiest, snowier, snowy so let me stamp that again in reverse order. LOL.

Not to worry, I won't waste that wheel and instead will create a Reveal Wheel card with the wheel on the lefthand side of the card.

Birch Press Design - Sunset Sympathy

It's rainy and gray so I needed some color, lots of color, on my latest Birch Press Design card.

Shimmery 3D Vintage Ornaments

I picked up this amazing Spellbinders 3D Vintage Ornaments embossing folder from Urban Papercrafter in Edmonds, WA, a couple of weeks ago.  Look at that texture--look at it!

For the above card I lightly brushed the embossed panel with Distress Oxide Picked Raspberry and Peacock Feathers then rubbed my Memento Brilliance Starlight Silver pad over the top.  Dreamy. 

On this card I used a black cardstock with a white core which I distressed by rubbing my sand erased over the surface to remove the black layer.  I rubbed my Delicata Golden Glitz pad over the top for a truly vintage look.  

For this one I used Distress Oxide Uncharted Mariner on a teal cardstock to create a highlighted area.  Then I used the sand eraser as well as the Tim Holtz edge distresser thingie.
