G-day, Mate!!

G'day, friends! I am a total fangirl when it comes to the Outback (romanticized, of course--poisonous everythings can keep to themselves, thank you very much).

Well, when I saw this set from Sunny Studio with its ultra cute critters, especially a chunk of a WOMBAT, I had to play with it! One of my favorite animals is a wombat. I wonder if it's like hugging a giant furry loaf when you hold them. LOL.

Let's start with the card base where I stamped the Sunny Studio Tropical Scenes island, colored up as a watering hole in my scene with that iron-rich soil I associate with the outback. Next I used Distress Oxide Salvaged Patina with the MFT Mini Cloud Edges stencil.

I used the Sunny Studio Comic Strip Speech Bubble Die backed with an acetate panel to create a flat shaker. As long as you're using flat flat sequins, there's no need to use foam tape.

But, what you can do instead, like I did here, is diecut the Sunny Studio Comic Strip Speech Bubble Die again and adhere it beneath.  It adds only a small bump up but it's the perfect amount to let your flat sequins shake freely.

I hope you enjoyed today's card.  Have a great rest of your day!

I'm entering this in Just Add Ink #566 Frame, As You See It #256 Zoology, and Happy Little Stampers August 2021 Anything Goes with Dies.
