Warm Yeti Hugs

I finally got my hands on the Catherine Pooler mini ink set and love them. They have amazing coverage (it may look spotty when you first stamp but it magically evens out). This card is a great way to test out the colors and it’s fun and pretty!

I lightly penciled a grid onto my card front then stamped the Puffy Holiday Greetings sentiment using a lot of colors. I did try using my MISTI but I don’t have the big one so it was a pain. My eyes and the grid worked just fine.

Aren’t those colorful speech bubbles fabulous?! Notice this one that’s a bit more muted? That is an Ancient Page ink I’ve had in my stash for around 15 years. It behaves very similarly to the CPs.

So background done. Now onto coloring up the image from Mama Elephant Me and My Yeti with Copics. He’s so cute! I did think he go lost on the background so added the vellum heart that I lightly sponged with Distress Oxide Worn Lipstick on the back.

I'm entering this in Jingle Belles Look What Santa Brought Me, Make My Monday #87 Use Words or a Sentiment

The Details:  Mama Elephant Me and My Yeti and Puffy Holiday Greetings, Catherine Pooler Inks, Copics
