My latest batch of Love Cynthia stamps arrived and I whipped up a quick card--well, took me a few hours between other tasks--you know how it is. First I sponged the pastel rainbow background (I'm so into the Cracked Pistaschio DI right now) then placed the coverplate diecut over the top. Next I added the hugs die. Coloring up the little girl and her huggy teddy was easy peasy. I paper-pieced her dress in keeping with the rainbow green behind her plus I'm mad for plaid. I added a sprinkling of enamel hearts (and have decided I need to buy more!).
I'm entering this in CAS(e) This Sketch! #216, Addicted to Stamps and More #236 Anything Goes, Mod Squad Paper Piecing, TIME OUT #80 Inspired by Words ('When it rains look for rainbows, when it's dark look for stars')
The Details: MFT Big Hugs die, Neat & Tangled Cover Plate die, Love Cynthia Invisible Crown, Doodlebug So Tweet Sprinkles, Distress Inks (Mermaid Lagoon, Cracked Pistachio, Spun Sugar, Squeezed Lemonade, Picked Raspberry), Copics, Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid Rainbow 6x6 paper
