Dino Birthday

One of my nephew is coming up on 12 (!!) so I figure he is beyond cutesy but not so beyond that I can't have a little fun coloring up a dino scene.  Back when I was a kid I had a dino coloring book and colored everything boring monochrome because that's how dinos were portrayed back then.  Thank goodness for Jurassic Park!  Check out this guy's plates!  Shabam--don't mess with me, romantic rivals!  LOL. 

As you can tell I embossed and actually cut some pieces to make them pop even more.  The rocks and his rounded body are embossed too.  I tried embossing the tree trunk but didn't like how it was going.  Let's see.  Oh, I airbrushed a pale blue sky.  Also masked a bit both when stamping and airbrushing.  The shadow?  Added that because I picked up the wrong pen.  I know you know what I'm talking about! 

The Details:  Lawn Fawn Critters from the Past, Bazzill green cardstock, Recollections 110lb white cardstock base, Memento Tuxedo Black, Technique Tuesday Monsters Ink partial sentiment (I liked the font), lots of Copics including YG11, YG13, YG17, YG63, YG67, E00, E30, E35, E37, E53, YR24, Y19, R29, B26, N0, N5, N7
