Peek-a-boo

Since I had the Mama Elephant Little Panda Agenda set out I worked up another card with them.  They're such cute, shy little creatures.  Well, I guess not so little but you know what I mean.

I used my Copic airbrush with YG 17, YG25, G94 on the Hero Arts Jungle Frame. I mounted this on top of the Lawn Fawn Polka Heart Backdrop.

Did you notice the touch of  MFT Sno Cone ink along the outside of the heart panel?

I'm entering this in Simon Says Wednesday Anything Goes

SOSS #140 - S is for Sea

The new Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers challenge is here:  #140 S is for Sea!

I stamped the MFT Mermazing gals with Versafine Onyx Black onto Strathmore Bristol Smooth cardstock. I then colored them with Zig Real Brush Watercolor Pens 022, 082, 072, 081, 222, and 052.

I masked them using Inkadinkado Masking Paper and then used my Copic airbrush and Copic B45 and B49 for seawater.  I spattered that with alcohol blending solution; notice how the watercolor wasn't affected?  Sweet. I also added a scale details using Copic YR07 and RV09.

I wanted to create a nauti (yeah, I went there) vignette using the Memory Box Graceful Branch Oval, turned on its side to look like seaweed, and Taylored Expressions Build a Scene Underwater dies. I cut out a variety and colored them with Distress Oxides.  They are adhered to the card using Gina K Connect Glue.  Now those gals have all the privacy they need!  Shh. They might catch us peeking!

The card is finished off with a sentiment from Hero Arts Beach Messages and a tiny Memory Box Cheerful Crab cut out of a leftover.

Whimsy - Pinto

Hello, everyone! I had a great time coloring the Horse Scene from the Whimsy July release. What a beautiful scene and then when you add color (or don't--gorgeous just by itself)--swoon.

I used a Wavy Nested Frame to cut out the scene and then explored a couple of ideas for the card base. The blue is lovely but my messy girl heart loves the Brusho background.  Which do you prefer?

For the sentiment I stamped one from Military Family onto a Quick Strips that I trimmed down.

ATCAS #164 - Daisy

We're starting a fresh Addicted to CAS Challenge today.  Come join us for #164 Daisy!

I colored my Tim Holtz Flower Garden cone flower using Copics.  I modeled it after one that is currently blooming in my garden.

I added the MFT Small Brick Wall Stencil using Distress Oxide Vintage Photo. That's also from my garden but not as even looking by any means!

Lastly I stamped the Hero Arts To Seize or Not to Seize sentiment using Versafine Onyx Black.

C4P - Tulip Birthday

I'm so pleased to announce I've joined the C4P Copic Club design team in support of the Crafts for Paws coloring classes! As you may have guessed the purpose of C4P is helping dogs with medical issues.

Today's card is based on the latest class called Overly Happy Tulips. If you make a minimum donation, you can have access to this class and color along with us!

Non-class products used:  Versafine Onyx Black, Altenew Versatile Vases

Whimsy - Otters

Let's jump right in! I started today's Whimsy card by stamping the Curly Qs Background with Versamark and embossed it with Ranger White Super Fine Detail Embossing Powder.

I used Zig 032 Persian Blue with a wide brush for water.

Then I stamped the Birthday Otters images with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored them up with Copics. I love their expressions!

For the sentiment I stamped one from Calories Schmalories onto a Quick Strips with Versamark and embossed it with Ranger White Super Fine Detail Embossing Powder.

I cut the sentiment into segments so the words could float along with the otters.
