Shake Your Hair

Some crafty gal pals and I had a great time Saturday shaking our hair and then some. Love you two! I managed to make 3 cards, including this one.

I just picked up some mini Action Wobbles--the mini size is perfect for my cute scenes! Here Bridget the Bergen is on a wobble with a stencilled disco background.  Bridget is my favorite Troll character, especially when she's all glammed up and going to 70s town. LOL!

I decided to make it a shaker for even more shaking goodness.  Doubly interactive!!!

THD #8 Mid-Challenge Reminder

Doesn't this scene just give you the shivers? Crisp and cold and CUTE! I can't decide if my favorite part are the fairies peeking out from the greenery (whitery?), the embossed background or that strip of glitter beneath the sentiment. And let's now forget the Wink of Stella and Glossy Accents that I applied to add sparkle and shine. Love it all

I do hope you're inspired to join The Heart Desires challenge this month--amazing inspiration board this round!

Indeed, You Sparkle!

My goodness, I had a time with this image. The wings are coated with a Wink of Stella marker that decided to vomit glitter everywhere.  This is my third attempt! Odd too as I've never had a problem before. Maybe I had a death grip on the barrel without realizing. In any, I love the results. Such a cute scene of a little angel sprinkling glittery stars over the winter landscape.

A Caroling We Go

A trio of holiday caroling cards. Thank goodness for the Scan n Cut! I was able to stamp the images then color them on a full size piece of 80lb cardstock then cut them out at once. Makes assembly a snap!

ARTplorations Stencil Blog Hop Day 3

Yet another stenciled card for the ARTplorations blog hop.  I just can't get enough!   Come check out how we've been using the fab ARTplorations stencils!

I found the front panel with the sentiment already stamped on it--I don't recall what my intention had been but why let it go to waste. Jingle Bells is such a fun holiday song and one of the earliest I remember learning as a child. Good memories.

I sponged the leaping deer from the ARTplorations Christmas Reindeer stencil in various Distress Inks to create a whimsical rainbow of sorts.  The black strip at the bottom grounds the card and the sequins act as snow. So fresh and fun!

Baby Dragon

A rather non-traditional baby card, wouldn't you say?  Soooooo cute!  I love the dimension created simply by placing the parent dragon on top of the cloud, and the baby behind.  The other thing that I don't recall trying before is using two coverplates together.  First, I diecut the stars, then used the swirl coverplate to represent more clouds and wind.  Neat!  Adding the Scor Tape behind the stars and burnishing glitter onto the front is a subtle blingy touch.  And non-messy (for the recipient).
