Glamorous Poinsettias

I finally caved and got some of the amazing shimmer watercolors from IUILE on Etsy. The vibrancy is stunning.  They were very easy to use--just add a bit of water--and away you go.  I did discover that they don't blend as I had expected but given what they're made of, that makes total sense.

We're focusing on dies this month on the Doodlebugs WA blog. For my first card of the month, I cheated a tiny bit and added a stamped gnome. I HAD to; he goes so perfectly with the scene.

HLS Christmas - Metallic

It's time for another Happy Little Stampers Christmas Challenge.  As always it's anything goes with an optional topping which happens to be "metallic" this month.

I used acrylic paints to brayer the debossed side of an embossed panel I had in my stash. I then spattered with silver watercolor paint and added a hot-foiled silver sentiment. Dreamy!
