ATCAS #169 - Creature
Our latest Addicted to CAS Challenge is #169 - Creature. So many possibilities with this one. I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with!
Can my card get any simpler? A bit of masking and sponging and a little coloring on the yeti. This would have been one layer too if it weren't for my inky fingers at the bottom--LOL!

Whimsy - Creepy and Kooky
Do you remember the Addams Family show? I liked that so much better than The Munsters so you can imagine how excited I was when Whimsy Stamps came out with a Morticia set.
I stamped the Morticia frame first using Distress Ink pens. I love the roses--remember how she used to cut off the roses and keep the thorny stems instead? Ha!
I then stamped Morticia with VersaFine Onyx Black and gave her a tiny bit of lip and eye color.
Next I diecut the Arched Window, adhered it to the card front and trimmed the excess. For the card base, I embossed it with a brick folder and apply a touch of Distress Oxide Weathered Wood to make it look aged.
The main sentiment is stamped with Versamark onto a Quick Strip and embossed with Ranger White Super Fine Detail Embossing Powder.

SOSS #144 - G is for Gross
Are you ready for another Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers Challenge? We're up to #144 - G is for Gross. My mind boggles with the possibilities. Be sure to check out the cards from the rest of the DT. They're perfectly gross!
My card is a simple one layer card where I stamped the Katzelkraft Sherlock Holmes character with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored him up with Copics. I then spattered Zig Real Brush Watercolor Markers on the card front. Easy peasy.

Whimsy - Autumnal Wolf
You know that thing where you have an idea in your head but it doesn't turn out that way but even better? Heck, yes!
Here I'm combining the new Whimsy Wolf Head with the new Fall Dangle Stencil.
I stamped the wolf first with VersaFine Onyx Black then sponged the stencil around it. No masking needed. I was just a little careful around his head.
I colored him up with Zig Realbrush Watercolor Pens. Wolves are majestic AF. I added the PaperArtsy Alison Bomber sentiment using VersaFine Onyx Black. For a final touch I sponged a couple of leaves with Distress Oxides.
Indeed life and nature harmonize.

Pretty in Aqua
I cannot believe I'm already making Thanksgiving cards but here we are.
Today I'm using a couple of new Pretty Pink Posh goodies. I used the PPP Autumn Leaves stencil to sponge Mermaid Lagoon and Fossilized Amber Distress Oxides onto the card base. I love the blending of the two colors and how you can see some of the sponging swirls.
Next I cut out the PPP Grateful Shaker die and Lawn Fawn Small Stitched Leaves using a variety of papers including Lawn Fawn Fall Fling, Lawn Fawn Fall Plaid, and Lawn Fawn Spring Fling. I cut the Memory Box branch from a deep brown cardstock.
I used Gina K Connect Glue to adhere everything but the vellum to the card base, gently shaping some of the leaves and branches to pop up. It's so rare for me to make a card that doesn't involve stamping or coloring--sort of weird. :)

Whimsy - Happy Trails
This another card I've made using the Whimsy September release products. I hope you've gone to take a look at what's available!
My concept started with the Lots of Dots panel which I had stamped for a different project but didn't use. I cut a Pierced and Stitched Circle Die and Distress Oxide Salty Ocean and Mowed Lawn to create the dragon background.
I colored up the Camping Dragons scene using Copics. I took my cue from the image sign to draw dotted trail lines on the card base using a Copic Multiliner 0.3.
I assembled the remaining card front using Scotch Foam Tape and Scor-Tape. So cute!

More Sunflowers
After I played around with the Pretty Pink Posh Sunflowers images using paper-piecing, I was curious how they would look water-colored with colored pencil accents. Would they be too cutesy? As if, I know.
Well, I think it turned out a treat. My only bump in the road was when I grabbed an orange rather than dark/bright yellow Zig marker. In my peripheral vision they looked exactly the same but on paper, not so much. Oops!
I covered up that little boo boo by stamping and coloring the image again, fussy cutting it, and popping it up on foam tape. It'll stay our little secret. :)

C4P - Romantic Floral Waves
I present to you my latest card for the C4P Copic Club design team in support of the Crafts for Paws coloring classes.
Today's card is based on the class called Romantic Floral Waves. If you make a minimum donation, you can have access to this class and color along with us!
This round I didn't have the main Copics used for the flower so I substituted those for BV63, RV66, RV69. For the flower colored pencil I substituted PC937 (Tuscan Red).
I'm entering this in CAS(E) this Sketch! #338 and Watercooler Wednesday #237 Feminine Anything Goes
