Vintage Gold Christmas

Okay, so here's the thing.  When I make a card, I usually have only a vague idea of what I want to do or use.  In this case, I had been using Delicata on another card and then I wondered how it would look stamped out using the Concord & 9th Stripe Builder set.  That turned out very cool.  Glitzy but soft.  So let's keep going with that theme and stamp and emboss a tree in gold.  Dreamy.  Sorta boring tho.  Let's distress the edges!  Big whoop.  Still boring.  Let's spatter some Peerless gold "snow" here, there, and (unfortunately) frickin' everywhere.  Mmm, liking this.  Ribbon!  I ran the Delicata over seam binding with fantastic results.  I love the look of that perfectly matched ribbon.  The sentiment is so fab in that bold black and perfectly balanced by the tree and bow.

I'm entering this in City Crafter #341 The Tree is Up! -- Dang!  Missed the deadline!

The Details:  Concord and 9th O Christmas Tree and Stripe Builder, Delicata Golden Glitz, Versafine Onyx Black, Ranger Multi Medium Matte, Watercolor Paper and Clear Super Fine Detail Embossing Powder, Peerless Transparent Metallic Gold, Hug Snug Seam Binding, Pretty Pink Posh sequins
