Stamplorations CAS August Challenge -- Gold!

I'm throwing down the gold all over the place today!  It's time for a new Stamplorations CAS Anything Goes Challenge with the optional twist of gold.  A little gold, a lotta gold.  It's all good.  Come join in the fun!

For my card, I stamped and embossed a few of the lotus blossoms from the Lotus Love set and carefully colored them with Copics.  You can ruin a Copic tip with the embossing medium so avoid touching the embossed lines.  I used the stem of a lavender die.  What did I learn with that?  The gold cardstock I used doesn't take to gentle bending like my regular cardstock.  I planted the stem in gold glitter washi dirt.  Love the mix of the different gold textures--so fab!

The Details:  Stamplorations Fond Expressions 2 and Lotus Love, Versafine Onyx Black, Copic 0, RV000, RV02, Memory Box Long Stem Lavender die, glitter washi

  1. LOVE this card Toni. The soft pink of your flowers is to perfect with the gold embossing. And I love your gold glitter "dirt". :) xx

  2. Toni, absolutely gorgeous card! A lot of white space balances gold details so well, should make a note for myself ;) - Sweet Kobylkin
